Previous areas of specialization include newspaper design and typography, and repackaging of foreign retail products for the American market.
Book design:

What Would Mary Ann Do? (cover design above) was a self help book and it was also a memoir of the Giligan's Island years, so it included a variety of interior formats such as sidebars, pullouts, and quizzes (below).

The Living Word in 3D collection (covers below) was a series of books for Rock Island Press. These books examined linguistic patterns in the Old Testament and were designed with a textbook format.

Interior spread for The Living Word in 3D, Book One:

The spread below is from a heavily illustrated history of the Fenley family:

The poster below also appeared as a spread in the history of the Fenley family. It traces the ancestry of a married couple (oval photos), including arrival dates in America and subsequent migration patterns, and then moves forward with their descendants.

Product Packaging
This bug zapper was originally packaged as an outdoor and camping accessory – greens, browns, camo. I repackaged it as a home accessory for "The Back Yard Hero" and added a little entertainment value. By the way, this product actually works as advertised . . . and so did the repackaging.
